Strickland named third assistant!

The University of Kentucky and it's head  basketball coach John Calipari have hired Rod Strickland as the third and final assistant coach. Rod Strickland previously held the position of Director of Basketball Operations at the University of Memphis for the past 3 seasons.

Strickland is a 17-year NBA veteran and two time college All-American at Depaul University. Strickland was selected in the first round of the 1988 draft by the New York Knicks. Throughout his 17 year career, Strickland played for 9 different NBA teams.

Strickland joins a talented staff that includes assistants Orlando Antigua and John Robic.
