heads to Athens tonight to defend their newly number 1 ranking as the Cats and Dawgs do battle on ESPN. Let's take a look at what the Cats can expect on their trip to Georgia.

Kentucky holds a 113-25 advantage over Georgia. The Bulldogs, however, won the last meeting in Athens 77-70.
2011-2012 Season
The Bulldogs have a record of 10-9 (1-4). Their best win on the season came last week against Tennessee. They have losses against California, Xavier, Alabama, and Cincinnatti.

1. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - The 6'4" freshman leads Georgia in scoring at 14.7 points a game. He is a 32.6% shooter from three, 63.2% shooter from the free throw line, and pulls down 5.1 rebounds per game.
2. Gerald Robinson - The senior averages 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. He shoots 30.8% from three and 79.1% from the line.
3. Dustin Ware - The senior guard averages 7.7 points and 2.1 assists per game. He shoots 34.3% from three and 90.6% from the line.
4. Donte Williams - The 6'9" forward averages 7.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. He is a 54.4% free throw shooter.
5. Nemanja Djurisic - The freshman forward averages 6.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He shoots 32.4% from three and 72.2% from the line.
Team Stats
Georgia averages 61.9 points per game, but are only averaging 58.6 points in conference play. They shoot 39.8% from the field and even lower in SEC games at 37.3%. On the season they are 31.8% from the three, but they are shooting 27.3% in the SEC action. The Bulldogs average 30.4 rebounds per game in conference play. They are averaging 11.8 offensive rebounds in their conference games. In SEC play they are averaging 10.2 assists and 11 turnovers per game.
Prediction
I think this could be UK's best preformance on the road in the SEC. Georgia does not matchup well with the Cats. Look for Davis, Jones, and MKG to have big games. UK can not let the Dawgs have a good night shoot the trey. Cats win 84-57.
