Is Marquis Teague progressing, or is it all done with mirrors? - 8 Hrs, 32 Mins ago

Well here's what an SI writer thinks, and some stats to show he's right.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/luke_winn/02/08/ kentucky.florida.three.things/

even so, there are still some who predict the possible downfall of the Cats will be attributable to MT. Having seen him play in high school and AAU maybe seven times total before enrollment at UK, I knew he had to be broken down Coach Cal's way. He is progressing just fine thank you. And, he's even getting a little more leg bend on his shot release, something I've noticed that is getting a tad better.

Spoke to a guy during the Super Bowl festivities who seemed to think Marquis could be a returnee. I dunno, based on the progress he is steadily making on both sides of the court, that is not very debatable to me. Still, that guy knows more than I do about the kid.

six regular season games left, and they ain't easy - 8 Hrs, 57 Mins ago

three at home, and I don't see us losing any of those three, being UGA, Ole Miss, and Vandy (could be close, nah)

but the three away, Vandy, Miss state, season ends at UF, now that's formidable.

a week off after this Saturday's game at Vandy, probably good for the team to get some rest, but bad for me who is way too impatient. Oh well, Nascar starts up soon.

We stubbed our toe against UVA a couple of years ago, and then lost a close one to eventual national champ UConn. Had we gotten that win, no way any other would have beaten us. I just don't see, with the weapons we have, how we could stub our toe against a lesser opponent in the upcoming tourney. However, IU beat us largely because the planets were aligned, but moreso because Davis spent more time on the bench than usual. He is the master key on a very talented keychain.

Methinks there will be "Miller Time" at some crucial moment.

by the way, in case you haven't heard, Noel is planning to attend the Ole Miss game in Lex. Let's make sure we let it be known that we would be sad but glad to trade a unibrow for a simpsonhead.

Incidentally, I can span 6 balls if I count the one in my stomach. So meh.

Hey, I'm sure we'll cook up something resembling a bracket challenge for us TBKers to embarrass ourselves with. You in?

If this bracket holds up, the only worry I would have is the tarheel game.

So there were 32 NBA personnel at the game tonight, wow.

Do you think AD can win three awards:

1. SEC POY

2. National POY

3. National Defensive POY

Oh heck, let's add a fourth, National Champion?

yeah, it's going on 5am here, what a hell of a night in Indy....this town has never rocked and rolled like this, it's all good.

met Tom Hanks, John Mellenkamp who was with Meg Ryan, and a few others partying like no other party I've ever been to....it has been wild and free flowing. I mean, Cher rented a place for four days and paid one half million dollars rent.

also saw several top brass of the sporting world, and ex players from just about all sports, only talked with Forrest gregg, if you remember him.

Anyway, caught a few upticks on things involving UK, not only from the partying, but from other contacts trying to get some freebies from me. LMAO, all of a sudden, Indy is the place to be (until the lipstick comes off tomorrow)

No way UCLA can claim a leadership for shabazz, No way, in no uncertain terms. Any suggestion in that direction is bogus because no family member or anyone close enuf to that recruitment has said anything of the sort. No leader, all even.

Marquis is not at this point considering the NBA. Not even talking about it. But an interesting take from a conversation I had was that he would consider coming back if not a first rounder, and right now his family thinks he's really low down in the pecking order of the first round from what they've been led to believe.

Kyle wiltjer is still growing. (so is John wall for that matter). was told he'll approach 6'10 soon. Met a guy who seemed to know the whole wiltjer background, family history and whatnot. seemed legit to me, who knows.

Met a guy from the Clippers, not a scout, but more into the business of the team. said anyone would be foolish not to take Davis, and that's the overall picture he paints about what other NBA teams think.

I'm missing something important, but damn, have rebelroused so much it's running together, will add to this post when I get it.

will the Cats stub their toe legend point? - 4 Days, 22 Hrs ago

against the gamecocks, predict the total score of both teams, plus ADD the points, rebounds, and blocked shots of our superstar Anthony Davis.

I got a total of 156, based on 121 plus 19 plus 10 plus 6. don't go over. exact gets two points.

Will be way late awarding the point(s), like 3 am.
